  • Man sentenced to 18 months for attempted escape

    Billings, Montana (AP)

A Crow Agency man who stabbed a teenage boy to death was given 18 months in prison during December for attempting to escape while he was on his way to be sentenced for the murder.

Mitchell J. Chandler, 24, is already serving 17 1/2 years in prison for killing Paul Dexter Morning Jr., 17, in 2004. He will serve his sentences concurrently, which means he won’t spend any more time in prison.
