  • Greektown Casino chairman resigns, faces assault charge

    Detroit, Michigan (AP)

    The chairman of Greektown Casino’s board has resigned after being accused of assault.

    Fifty-year-old Fred Paquin also is police chief for the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa. He denies an assault. But he has been suspended with pay from that job while the case is pending.
