The U.S. Senate has confirmed the next U.S. attorney for Arizona.
Diane J. Humetewa (hoo-MEE’-tee-wah), who was nominated by President Bush Nominated, will be the first Native American woman to serve in the role.
Humetewa currently is senior litigation counsel and tribal liaison for the U.S. attorney’s office.
