Allegations against Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Chairwoman Karen Diver have been dismissed.
Diver abstained from mid-January 4-0 vote by the Reservation Business Committee, which dismissed charges including malfeasance in handling tribal affairs, dereliction or neglect of duty and refusal to comply with any provisions of the constitution and bylaws of the tribe.
Band members had gathered the signatures of more than 20 percent of eligible voters on the reservation to prompt the vote.
