    Former Yakama curator, daughter indicted in artifact thefts

    Yakima, Washington (AP)

    A federal grand jury has indicted the former curator of the Yakama Nation Museum and her daughter, accusing them of stealing artifacts.

    Assistant U.S. Attorney Tom Rice says Marilyn S. Malatare, 57, and her daughter, Colette J. Malatare, 29, both of Yakima, are named in the indictments.

    I would guess that gambling might have played a role in this heartbreaking news, she is married to my 1st cousin, and upon hearing of this on the tv news, I was shocked as h___! to say the least.....Please pray for not only them, but all the good people gone bad!
