Two former Oglala Sioux Tribe officials charged with stealing from the tribe on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation avoided jail time.
Former vice president Eileen Janis (JAH’-nees) and ex-payroll supervisor Kim Colhoff were both sentenced in federal court in Rapid City Monday to five years of probation.
