  • Navajo Nation sends teams to help storm victims

    Window Rock, Arizona (AP)

The Navajo Nation is sending strike teams into remote areas of the reservation to bring food, medicine and fuel to residents stranded by recent storms.

Teams are traveling on graded roads looking for emergency signs residents are being told to erect at their turnoffs if they need help. Red signs indicate critical emergencies, green a need for heating fuel and blue food and water.
