The Spokane Tribe of Indians joined an effort to provide more water for farms, cities and fish in the Columbia River Basin by draining more water from Lake Roosevelt.
The Spokane Tribe joined the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in the agreement.
