  • Yankton leaders try to keep Emergency Room open 24 hours

    Wagner, South Dakota (AP)

Leaders from the Yankton Sioux Tribe went to Washington recently to try and keep the emergency room at the Indian Health Services clinic in Wagner open for 24 hours.

A federal judge in August reversed an earlier decision and ruled that it should be allowed to reduce its hours.
