  • Tribal official, wife sentenced in tribal corruption case

    Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (AP)

The conviction and sentencing of a former tribal legislator and his wife brought to nine the number of Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribe officials and associates who’ve been convicted in a corruption investigation, prosecutors said during April.

A federal judge ordered Robert Tabor to serve a year in prison for conspiracy to embezzle more than $114,000 of gaming revenues from the Lucky Star Casinos, which are owned by the Concho-based tribe. The judge ordered Tabor, 62, to repay the $114,000.
