  • National Indian Basketball Coaches Association sets 2008 season

    Bemidji, Minnesota (ICC)

The National Indian Basketball Coaches Association has recently been formed to promote the growth and development of Indian and non-Indian high school and college coaches that coach American Indian athletes and to recognize outstanding Indian and non-Indian high school and college athletes, coaches, and programs. "I've envisioned the idea to organize coaches throughout the country and finally put it all together," said Executive Director Dan Ninham. "While visiting a number of Indian and non-Indian coaches in the past few months throughout the
country, a common interest has been there for a long time."
