  • Les Schwab to pay $185,000 in harassment case

    Seattle, Washington (AP)

    Les Schwab Tire Centers of Montana has agreed to pay $185,000 to settle a racial harassment lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

    The case charged that Les Schwab failed to stop Earle Nevins’ co-workers from calling him derogatory names and making insulting jokes about Native Americans.
