  • Judge won’t add Weise estate to cases

    Minneapolis, Minnesota (AP)

The judge presiding over the Red Lake school shooting lawsuits has outlined his reasons for keeping the estate of Jeffrey Weise out of lawsuits filed by survivors and victims’ family members.

Weise, 16, opened fire at Red Lake High School on March 21, 2005, killing seven people before taking his own life. Before heading to the high school, he killed two others on the American Indian reservation in northern Minnesota.
