Ohio casino battle heating up with ads

The owner of an Indiana casino near the Ohio border is joining the fight against a ballot issue that would ask voters to allow a $600 million casino resort in southwest Ohio.

If the issue makes the Nov. 4 ballot, voters would decide whether to amend the Ohio Constitution to allow a casino resort off Interstate 71 near Wilmington, about halfway between Cincinnati and Columbus.

I used to live in Ohio for a while. At the time that I left, the Shawnee were tryin' to get some land back there. This area where the casino is tryin' to go up, is that land that the Shawnee finally got back??
As bad as Ohio is suffering in many cities from loss of businesses and the economy hittin' that state hard, you would think that it would pass.
