  • Northern Arapaho Tribe sues over boundary

    Lander, Wyoming (AP)

    The Northern Arapaho Tribe has sued Fremont County and the state of Wyoming in federal court over a long-standing boundary dispute.

    In its lawsuit filed in federal court in Cheyenne, the tribe states that Fremont County has been improperly levying state vehicle registration taxes and fees against tribal members who live in Riverton and other areas.
