  • Browning man gets 6 years in drunken driving crash

    Great Falls, Montana (AP)

    A 26-year-old Browning man has been sentenced to six years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $59,000 in restitution for a drunken driving crash that seriously injured two people.

    Robert Welch pleaded guilty to assault resulting in serious bodily injury for the Oct. 19, 2006 crash on the Blackfeet Reservation.
