  • Traditional Cocopah home built as part of exhibit

    Yuma, Arizona (AP)

    Elders of the Cocopah Tribe are directing a small crew of workers in erecting a traditional home on the tribe’s southwestern Arizona reservation.

    The traditional home will serve as the Cocopah Museum’s newest exhibit, which will be showcased during the tribe’s annual Cocopah Cultural Celebration on Oct. 18.
