The chief executive officer of Foxwoods Resort Casino has become among the first of about 700 employees to lose their jobs because of cost-cutting.
The Mashantucket Pequot tribe, which owns the casino, says Patricia Irvin’s last day as CEO was Oct. 3. It is among about 700 positions slated to be cut by Oct. 17 through layoffs or attrition.
