  • Parker, Windy Boy top candidates in tribal primary

    Rocky Boy Agency, Montana (AP)

    The top vote-getters for tribal chairman in the Chippewa Cree primary Oct. 7 were Raymond J. Parker Jr. and Jonathan Windy Boy.

    They will square off in November’s general election.

    Parker collected 426 votes compared to 364 for Windy Boy.
