A planning commission has recommended approval of a health center proposed by the Absentee Shawnee Tribe to address the health care needs of tribal members and other American Indians.
Members of the Norman Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend that the Norman City Council approve a rezoning request for an 80-acre site for the health center. The health center would use 25 acres of the site.
