It really is about my children and grand-children. I have hope that life will be better for them.
And it's more about just tribal issues or sovereignty. It has to do with the dignity of a campaign, about demeanor, about acting rationally under the intense pressure and scrutiny of public observation and world politics.
I have followed this year's presidential elections through the primaries, and while endorsing Barack Obama fairly early on in the process, (Aug. 4, 2008 NFIC issue), I want to reiterate the same conclusion that I came to then.
Obama is, and will be a transformational personality, no matter the outcome of the November 4th elections.
