Aluminum maker Alcoa Inc. is cutting about 100 jobs from its northern New York plants.
The company says the job reductions in Massena – near the Canadian border about 160 miles northeast of Syracuse – are part of a companywide effort to reduce costs because of plummeting aluminum prices.
