    obama_by-curry08.jpgIn one of the historic moments that will define the 21st century, the 42-year-old senator from Illinois, Barack Obama has won a 21 month battle of political will power to become the next president of the United States.

    Barack Obama was declared the winner around 10 pm CST in the Presidential election, garnishing some 62,776,613 confirmed votes to McCain’s 55,623,738, and clearing 364 of the 270 votes needed to carry the electoral college and win the election. McCain recieved 163 electoral votes.
