  • Indian School building new high school building

    Riverton, Wyoming (AP)

St. Stephen’s Indian School – the state’s oldest continually operating school – has broken ground on a new high school building.

The new facility will house grades 9-12 and is expected to cost about $10 million. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is funding the new school in St. Stephens, which is just south of Riverton in Fremont County.

man i wish that would happen to this school here, at the
Flandreau Indian School, which is the nations oldest boarding school out there

instead they should raise the funding here, cause that is the reason why so many teachers and staff got rifted from here over the past 3 years,

since the funding went down, and so many people gone, the student attendence dropped as well

this school was actually thinking about going grant !!!
