St. Stephen’s Indian School – the state’s oldest continually operating school – has broken ground on a new high school building.
The new facility will house grades 9-12 and is expected to cost about $10 million. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is funding the new school in St. Stephens, which is just south of Riverton in Fremont County.
