For the first time in its history, the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma has elected an American Indian as its president.
Emerson Falls, the pastor of Glorieta Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, was elected to the top office Nov. 11 during the convention’s 102nd annual meeting, held at The Church at BattleCreek.
