A man who helped burn the body of a slain Ashland woman faces 15 years in prison.
A federal judge Nov. 20 sentenced 36-year-old Reno James Runs Above for being an accessory after the fact, in the May 5 death of Rosella Wooden Thigh.
Authorities say Runs Above told them he saw Trinidad Quiroz shoot Wooden Thigh in a trailer near Ashland. According to court records and statements made in court, Quiroz killed himself five days later.
