Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (AP)
A state board has approved the sale of $27 million in bonds for low water dam and conservation projects across the state, despite questions raised about the constitutionality of legislation authorizing the bonds.
Gov. Brad Henry, chairman of the Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority, said he does not think the 2008 legislation skirts the state Constitution’s prohibition against laws covering more than one subject.
