The Oneida Indian Nation is raising its profile with a parade – the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The upstate New York Indian nation sponsored a float in Macy’s 82nd annual march down Broadway on Nov. 27. Other Indian tribes have appeared in the parade but organizers say the Oneidas are the first to have a float.
