A spokeswoman for the Three Affiliated Tribes says the tribal election board recommends a new election for a tribal council seat from the White Shield area.
Spokeswoman Vonnie Alberts says two ballots opened Wednesday tied the race between incumbent Frank Whitecalfe and challenger Fred Fox at 196 votes apiece.
