The economic downturn didn’t appear to affect a new Indian Casino in Shingle Springs, where an estimated 10,000 people turned out for opening day.
Guests lined up at 2,000 slot machines, played at 75 gambling tables and ate at six restaurants at the new Red Hawk Casino Dec. 17.
