New Mexico Attorney General Gary King says he’s encouraged that incoming leadership at the Environmental Protection Agency under President-elect Barack Obama will mean the proposed Desert Rock Power plant will get a fair hearing.
“There might be hope,” King said. “The incoming administration will give us the opportunity to make our arguments against EPA’s grant of Desert Rock’s air permit.”
