Red Lake man indicted for assault

Bemidji, Minnesota (AP)

A Red Lake man has been indicted during mid-Janaury for a brutal assault on the Red Lake Chippewa Reservation.

Ronald Dean Oakgrove Sr. is charged in federal court with one count of maiming and one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

Seems like pretty loose charges for such a crime. Wonder why he wasn't charged with Attempted Murder?

I think everyone on this rez is addicted to Harry Potter...lol...
