The U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear a challenge Jan. 21 to a tribal casino in western Michigan, clearing the way for construction.
“We are very happy with the Supreme Court’s decision,” said D.K. Sprague, chairman of the Gun Lake Tribe. “It is, however, bittersweet because the tribe and thousands of its supporters were irrevocably harmed by this lawsuit.”
