A plea hearing was delayed Jan. 21 for the former chairman of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe who is accused of fraud and embezzlement.
A new attorney for Glenn Marshall asked U.S. District Judge Rya Zobel by phone for three weeks to review his case after getting hired by Marshall the night of Jan. 20. Attorney Paul Markham said he was also unsure if Marshall had enough money to pay him and may need to seek a court appointed attorney.
