The Navajo Nation Council has decided to put off a vote on right-of-way easements for a proposed coal-fired power plant on the reservation.
Council spokesman Joshua Lavar Butler says tribal lawmakers voted 66-6 to table the measure until the summer session to allow communities in the area of the proposed Desert Rock Energy Facility to comment.
