Restaurants that serve alcohol soon will be allowed in an office and retail corridor along a busy Scottsdale freeway.
The change comes after a vote by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community during late January to allow alcohol sales in restaurants and other commercial corridors along the Loop 101. The tribe currently allows liquor sales only in its casinos, hotels, resorts and golf courses.
