The St. Louis County attorney has advised commissioners against banning private residents from recording County Board meetings.
Melanie Ford warned the county board Feb. 17 that banning the use of electronic recording devices at informal board workshops might lead to a lawsuit. She also said there was “no compelling reason” for a ban.
