The former executive director of the Omaha Tribal Housing Authority has been given probation and ordered to repay restitution of $23,000 to the tribe.
U.S. Attorney Joe Stecher’s office said Feb. 23 that 37-year-old Erica Spears of Macy was found guilty of theft from a federally funded organization. The tribe gets aid from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
