Interim Crow Tribal Chairman Cedric Black Eagle plans to run for the post vacated with the Feb. 15 death of Chairman Carl Venne.
Black Eagle made the announcement Feb. 23, the opening day of candidate filing for the post. The primary election is scheduled for March 28, with the top two vote getters advancing to the April 18 general election.
