The University of Colorado-Boulder caved to a “howling mob” when it fired professor Ward Churchill from his tenured position in 2007, his attorney David Lane said.
His comments came during opening statements in a lawsuit filed by Churchill, who was dismissed in 2007 after three faculty committees concluded he committed plagiarism and other research misconduct.
