Buffy Sainte-Marie: Running for the Drum [Independent 2008]. Buffy Sainte-Marie’s long-awaited album, Running for the Drum, was launched at the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards in Toronto where she received the Lifetime Achievement recognition on November 30, 2008, thus ending her ten-year boycott of the CAMAs since their inception in 1998.
