During late March, Gretchen Morris from Red Cliff served as the lead dancer for "The Women of Influence" pow wow. The pow wow celebrated women's contribution to health in the Lac Courte Oreilles community.
She says tobacco is often mis-used in Indian Country, leading to poor health.
To stay healthy Morris runs daily, dances at pow wows, doesn't smoke, and uses tobacco for prayer.
