A 31-year-old Lame Deer man convicted of sexually abusing a young girl has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison plus 15 years of supervised release.
District Judge Richard Cebull sentenced Doyle J. Lyons during April. A jury convicted Lyons in December of aggravated sexual abuse of a minor for inappropriately touching a girl under the age of 12 on Nov. 17, 2007, in Lame Deer. Doyle testified that he gave a false confession to the FBI because he was scared of going to prison.
