Some who attended a forum in Rapid City on April 9 say racism still exists in the area despite years of efforts to quell it.
Panelists at the forum said a March attack by a group of teenagers on some American Indians in Rapid City was no surprise and that people in Rapid City are ignoring the problem of racism. The teens used BB guns to shoot at the Indians and then doused them with urine.
