A tribal judge of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation has ruled that the tribe’s central government, not individual chartered Indian communities, should control casino funds from the communities with gaming operations.

The tribal judge also requested that the six communities with gaming operations – Bristow, Checotah, Duck Creek, Eufaula, Holdenville and Okemah – provide an accounting of funds from fiscal year 2002 until the present.
