A former finance director of the Passamaquoddy Tribe at Indian Township has been sentenced to a year and a day in prison for his role in the misuse of tribal and federal funds.
James Parisi Jr. of Portland was convicted in November of 11 of 21 counts of conspiracy and misuse of funds. He was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Bangor.
