Portland, Oregon (AP)
A member of the Yakama Nation tribe is the new executive director of the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, effective July 1.
Leaders of the commission’s four member tribes selected 45-year-old Babtist “Paul” Lumley and announced the appointment April 30. Lumley has been serving as executive director of the National American Indian Housing Council in Washington D.C., but previously worked for the commission.
