Larry EchoHawk says he will focus on economic development, education and law enforcement if given the chance to head up the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
EchoHawk, a law professor at Brigham Young University, answered questions May 7 during a hearing before the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. He was nominated last month by President Obama to lead the troubled tribal agency.
