Members of the Nez Perce Tribe in north-central Idaho are urging tribal leaders to take a close look at allegations of racism in area schools.
During the tribe’s General Council meeting, members held a voice vote and asked the Nez Perce Tribal Executive Committee to open a dialogue with regional schools about concerns of racist language toward tribal members by other students.
