A golf course in East Gadsden has been sold to the Cherokees of Alabama, which says it plans to develop the property with commercial, residential, entertainment and other attractions.
The deal was closed shortly after the course’s shareholders approved the sale of River Trace Golf Course 445 to 17 on May 12.
